Early life

Dr. Pareshkumar C. Dave Earned a Doctorate degree in Chemistry from Central Salt & Marine Chemical Research Institute. He completed Post graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from NALSAR University of Law. He married to Dr. Sunita Rani and they have a Daughter Lamha. He resides in New Delhi.


Dr. Pareshkumar C. Dave have been working since 1995 including 11 years of research experience and 15 years in the field of Intellectual property rights. Mrs. Meera Chetan Bhatia

Mrs. Meera Chetan Bhatia born in Delhi a social worker, activist and the first Sign Language Interpreter to interpret the first Accessible Independence Day, Republic Day and Oath taking Ceremony of the PM in 2014, telecasted on DD News. She is a recipient of the Helen Keller award by NCPEDP, among other honors. 



As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), Mrs. Meera Chetan Bhatia identifies Sign Language as her “mother tongue” and has thereby donned the role of a Sign Language Interpreter throughout her life. She was one of the first anchors to present the daily news bulletin in Sign Language at DD News in 1992, a role she played for the next 27 years. At 35 years of age, she decided to quit a sincerely built career as a Computer Science teacher in Modern Barakhamba School to forward the cause of Deaf Empowerment in India. With her NGO Sai Swayam Society (SSS), she entered the then uncharted territory of skill training and job placements for Persons with Disabilities. Through innovative approaches, meaningful collaborations and a dedicated team, SSS has placed over 7200 Deaf individuals in gainful employment all across India in the last 14 years. With many accolades including the prestigious National Award, she is lives by the motto of “service before self” and believes in the power of social transformation.

In 2010 Meera received the Helen Keller award by NCPED as the Best Placement Officer for PwDs. She was honoured with the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Best Placement Officer )by the President of India in 2014. For her experience and contribution to the field of ISL in India, she was awarded the Jazbaa Award for Excellence in Sign Language by the Minister of Minority Affairs in 2016.
